Jamie D. Phelps Sandefur

Funeral services for Jamie D. Phelps Sandefur, 39, of Cairo,  are at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo. Rev. Rod Brinkley will officiate.  Services will conclude at the Chapel.  Ms. Sandefur passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 19, 2015.

Active pallbearers will be Mickey Bishop, Kenny Keene, Kenny Phelps, Robbie Phelps, Robin Curby and Randy Curby.

Ms. Sandefur was born on September 11, 1975, in Thomasville, Ga., to Tommy Joe Phelps, Sr. and Vanna Keene Allen, who survive.  She was a licensed practical nurse employed with Bainbridge Health and Rehab.  She was a member of the Vineyard Ministries of Cairo.

Survivors include: daughters, Summer Rivenburg (Adrain) of  Whigham,  Sara Sandefur of Cairo; sons, Cody Sandefur of Cairo, Lee Sandefur of Cairo; grandchildren, Ayden Rivenburg of Whigham, Sophia Rivenburg of Whigham, Delilah “Moon Pie” Sandefur of Bainbridge, Zachary Sandefur of Cairo; parents, Tommy Joe Phelps, Sr. of Cairo, and Vanna Keene Allen of Cairo; brothers, Tommy Phelps, Jr. of Cairo, Brandon Phelps (Peyton) of Cairo, Aaron Newgard of Alabama; sisters, Bethanne Allen of Kissimmee, Fla., Melinda Allen of Kissimmee; and nieces, Kim Ponder of Whigham, Gina Sandefur, Sage Sandefur, Ashley Phelps, Julie Phelps, Kailee Phelps, all of Cairo, and Nephew, Brayden Phelps of Cairo,

Memorials may be made in Ms. Sandefur’s memory to a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
