Bainbridge Public Safety and the Drug Enforcement Agency teamed up to arrest Bryan Porter Wednesday after a year-long drug investigation.
An investigation into cocaine dealings in Bainbridge led to Porter appearing on BPS and DEA’s radar. According to BPS deputy director Frank Green, Porter was distributing multiple ounces of crack-cocaine and identified as substantial distributor in Bainbridge.
BPS and the DEA opened the investigation and Porter was indicted by a federal grand jury a few months before his arrest based on evidence that was collected.
He was arrested on Louise Street and is now in custody of the U.S. Marshals in Macon.
“We appreciate the assistance of the DEA and we believe it will have substantial impact on cocaine distribution in Bainbridge,” Green said.
