Two Bainbridge residents were killed this morning in an accident on I-85 North in Anderson County, South Carolina.

Austin Wayne Brown, 46, and his wife, Jennifer Ann Brown, 49, died in the crash that shut down the interstate, according to wyff4.com.

A 2016 Chevy SUV with three passengers ran into the back of a semi truck, wyff4.com is reporting. The third passenger, a 17-year-old boy, was airlifted to the nearest hospital.

It is unknown if any of the passengers were wearing seat belts, according to wyff4.com. The driver of the semi truck was uninjured.
