River level update

A flood warning issued by the National Weather Service out of Tallahassee, Fla., continues for the Flint River and Bainbridge area.
As of 7:45 p.m. Sunday, the river level reached 23.2 feet with the flood stage being 25 feet.
The warning forecasts the river to rise above flood stage by late Tuesday morning and continue to rise to near 25.3 feet by Tuesday evening. It is forecasted to fall below the flood stage by late Wednesday morning.
Spring Creek is also experiencing a flood warning affecting Decatur, Miller and Seminole counties.
As of Sunday night, Spring Creek at Iron City was at 17.4 feet, exceeding the 16-foot flood stage. Moderate flooding is occurring and expected to continue, reported the National Weather Service.
The flooding is related to the heavy rainfall received last Wednesday and Thursday.
