Baseball players in Bainbridge and Decatur County are invited to try out for the Chattahoochee Red Birds of the Big Bend Semi-Pro Baseball League of North Florida.

Red Birds official Harold W. Bailey, whose son Roger Bailey pitched for the Colorado Rockies, says the team provides a great opportunity to play on a great team in a great league.

“We know there are some good players in Bainbridge and Decatur County and we look forward to having them try out for the Red Birds,” Bailey said. “Anyone wishing to try out or desiring more information about the league can call me at 229-662-2066 or 850-524-2151.”
