Graveside services for Florence Beatrice Trawick, 90, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Friday, April 10, at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville with the Rev. Richard Trawick officiating.

Born in Pansey, Ala., on April 20, 1918, Mrs. Trawick died on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at her residence.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville and was a homemaker. Mrs. Trawick was also a member of the Home Demonstration Team and was an avid member of the Donalsonville Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Trawick; a son-in-law, Bernard Shield; a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Ray, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Shield of Bay City, Texas; a son, Delane “Bud” Trawick of Donalsonville; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
