Church to host job fair

On Saturday, April 25, the Community Job Fair will be held in the Education Building of First Baptist Church, 200 S. Clay St.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon.
Representatives from the following entities will be on hand to talk with participants: Stones, John B. San Fillippo & Son, Circle B Construction, Bainbridge College, Ivey Funeral Home, Georgia Department of Labor, Decatur County, City of Bainbridge, Belks, Bowen Baptist Association, Decatur County Schools and Cox-Ware Funeral Home.
Any business wishing to set up a booth may do so on Friday afternoon between the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. A business wishing to participate may do so at no charge and should call the church office, 246-1563, for further information.
First Baptist Church seeks to be a community-minded ministry.
Pastor Paul Medley said, “Through this activity and others like it, we hope to strengthen the community and open hearts to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
