Graveside funeral services for Clyde Eugene “Gene” White, 75, of Bainbridge were held on Tuesday, April 21, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery near Climax with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating.

Born in Decatur County on Aug. 3, 1933, Mr. White died on Friday, April 17, at Bainbridge Healthcare.

He graduated from Climax High School and was a retired sales representative.

Survivors include his daughter, Celia New of Houma, La.; his son, Clyde Eugene White Jr. of Climax; his sister, Pat W. Martin of Bainbridge, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
