The Faceville United Methodist Charge welcomes its new pastor, the Rev. Shane Lovvorn and family. Lovvorn is a recent graduate of Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla., and will begin attending Asbury Theological Seminary in January. Lovvorn brings with him more than 18 years of ministry experience, much of it in full-time youth ministry. He comes to Faceville from Moultrie First United Methodist Church. He is joined by his wife, Judi, and their three children. The Faceville Charge consists of Faceville United Methodist Church, Hopewell United Methodist Church and Sylvania United Methodist Church. Charge rotation for summer months is as follows: first and third Sundays—Hopewell UMC; second Sunday—Faceville UMC; fourth Sunday—Sylvania UMC. Sunday morning worship is at 11:15 a.m. and Sunday evening worship is at 7 p.m. Sunday School meets weekly at each church at 10 a.m.
