Emily Yent of the financial services firm of Edward Jones recently won the firm’s exclusive Century Award for outstanding performance during 2008.

James D. Weddle, the firm’s managing partner, calls Yent a leader in the firm and an example of what a dedicated Edward Jones financial adviser can achieve. Yent of one of only 225 of the firm’s more than 12,000 financial advisers to receive the award.

Yent, who works with John McBroom at their office located at 102 E. Broughton St., said she is honored to receive the award.

“I am one of those fortunate people who gets to make a living doing something I truly enjoy,” Yent said. “This industry is always challenging and sometimes difficult, but I enjoy helping the people of Bainbridge and Donalsonville meet their financial goals. It is a pleasure to be recognized for my work.”
