Connie Snyder, who serves as Bainbridge College admissions and records director, has received the Silver 2009 Chancellor’s Customer Service Award for an individual.
She was honored by Chancellor Erroll B. Davis and Gov. Sonny Perdue at an awards ceremony in Atlanta on Sept. 15 at the meeting of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
In addition to her honor, Bainbridge College (BC) also received honorable mention for the 2009 Chancellor’s Customer Service Institution of the Year Award.
“This is wonderful news of our own Connie Snyder,” said BC President Tom Wilkerson. “Given the number and strength of the nominations from across our system, her award is especially significant since it demonstrates so clearly what those of us privileged to know and to work with Connie have always known: In many ways Connie Snyder is Miss Bainbridge College. Saying that she is dedicated to helping students vastly understates her deep devotion to the well-being and future of every student who comes to our College,” he said.
In addition to extending congratulations to Snyder for her excellent award, President Wilkerson, in his e-mail message, told the BC community to give “a round of applause for the College’s being named to the honorable mention list for customer service.”
He reminded the BC family that it has collectively earned four customer service awards since the current Customer Service Initiative began.
“That makes a powerful statement about us as a community. Thank you for all that you continue to do for our students. I am grateful,” Wilkerson said.
