Debra Ross

Funeral services for Debra Rene Ross, 54, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held on Monday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with the Revs. Charles Dennis, Donna Sue Roberts and Kirk Loyless officiating.

Interment followed in the church’s cemetery with Larry Phillips, Kevin Lewis, Mike Spooner, Calvin Atkinson Jr., Ted Newberry and Brian Kelly serving as active pallbearers.

Born in Albany, Ga., on April 21, 1955, Mrs. Ross died on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Ross was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Lemuel Ross of Donalsonville; two sons, Edwin Ross and Jeffrey Ross, both of Donalsonville; a daughter, LeAnne Ross of Donalsonville; a sister, Donna Taylor of Donalsonville; her sister-at-heart, Becky Newberry of Donalsonville; her close and faithful companion, Zulu, and five grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
