Maxine Patterson

A private funeral service will be held for Maxine Dodson Patterson, 73, of Savannah, Ga., in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
Born July 13, 1936, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Patterson died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at her residence in Savannah.
She lived in Bainbridge many years prior to moving to Nashville, Tenn., where she was a real estate agent. She lived in Savannah for 15 years and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Patterson Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Elaine Patterson and Donna Lynn Patterson-Hall, both of Savannah; a son, Charles Edwin “Ed” Patterson Jr. of Rincon, Ga.; three sisters, Jimmie Williams and Charlotte Herring, both of Bainbridge, and Gail Brown of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, George Sherman of Savannah.
Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors in Savannah are in charge of arrangements.
