Crime television enthusiasts can learn to separate fact from fiction, reality from popular television as they are introduced to the basics of real crime scene investigation in a special class being offered on Tuesdays in March through Bainbridge College Continuing Education Division.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Mike Walsingham will teach the class 6 to 9 p.m. in Continuing Ed Center Room 421 on the main campus.
The class will include real case scenarios and practical exercises to introduce the students to current methods and procedures used by criminal justice agencies to process crime scenes. It is designed for individuals who are interested in determining the reality of popular television or who want to increase their knowledge of crime investigation.
To register or learn more about the class, which costs $50, those interested in participating may call Continuing Ed at 229-248-2516.
