A funeral service for Rev. Zack J. Worsham, 80, of Whigham, will be held Saturday, April 24, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Ivey Funeral Home with Dr. Ron McCaskill and Dr. Paul Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Jeffrey Creel, Jason Creel, Hayward Hollingsworth, Ben Brinkley, Gene Goodman and Larry Dixon serving as active pallbearers.

Born May 26, 1929, in Camilla, Ga., Mr. Worsham passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Worsham was a graduate of Camilla High School and Baptist Bible Institute, and served in the ministry for over 40 years in South Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Cairo, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Peterman Worsham of Whigham; his son, Jeff Worsham of Whigham; his daughters, Dawn Creel of Panama City, Fla., and Diane Woodcock of Jesup, Ga.; five sisters, Lilly McDaniel of Camilla, Ga., Laura Butler of Albany, Ga., Moncile Glover of Newton, Ga., Emogene Sanders of Starke, Fla., and Ann Peterman of Lakeland, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
