A funeral service for Sarah Margaret Cloud Jackson, 79, of Donalsonville, Ga., was held Sunday, May 2, in the chapel of at Ivey Funeral Home with the Revs. Ernest Dupree and Newton Cloud officiating.

Interment followed at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Steve Casey, Adam Jones, Shauwn Chambless, Jimmy Henderson, Mike Nix and Marty Pollock serving as active pallbearers.

Born June 25, 1930, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Jackson died on Friday, April 30, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Jackson.

Survivors include her two sons, Jimmy Jackson of Donalsonville and Randy Jackson of Baconton, Ga.; two daughters, Sherry Awbrey of Culleoka, Tenn., and Debra Pollock of Austin, Texas; her brother, Bobby Ray Cloud of Bainbridge; her two sisters, Myrtice Valentine and Vinnie Wimberly, both of Bainbridge; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
