The funeral service for Eunice McCalvin Williams, 86, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel in Bainbridge with the Revs. Jean Watson and Wayne McDonald officiating.

Services will conclude at the chapel. A private interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born Nov. 17, 1923, in Colquitt, Ga., and died Nov. 26, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

She was a seamstress for Williamson Dickie and the owner and operator of Port City Nursery for more than 30 years. She was an active member of West Bainbridge United Methodist Church and a life member of V.F.W. Post 4904 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas McCalvin and Leola Long McCalvin.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Clifton J. “Dud” Williams of Bainbridge; her son, James Steven Williams of Bainbridge; her daughters, Peggy Williams Stout and Carolyn Williams Kincaid, both of Bainbridge; her brother, Herman McCalvin of Colquitt; her sister, Lillian Smith of Donalsonville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
