• Loving Kindness Outreach Ministries—The ministry, located at 836 Martin Luther King Jr. St. in Colquitt, will host a combined youth Christmas program with God’s Temple of Holy Praise church on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 5 p.m.
• Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located on Spring Creek Road in West Bainbridge, will observe Pastor David L. Gosha’s fourth anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Hendricks, associate pastor of Sardis M.B. Church in Dothan, as speaker.
• Ephesus 7th Day Adventist Church—The church, located 1604 Butler Ferry Road, Bainbridge, will be distributing food (age 40 and older) and clothing to those in need (no age limit on clothing) on Sunday, Dec. 19, from 12 to 2 p.m. Please bring ID and a container. • Southwest Baptist Church—The church, located at 1101 Faceville Hwy., will hold a Christmas Cantata titled “O Holy Night” on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 6 p.m. Refreshments will follow in the social hall.
• Grace Church—The church, located on Lake Douglas Road, will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve service on Friday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. The service will feature a number of Christmas carols and an offering for the Salvation Army. The gathering will last for less than an hour, and is designed to be a warm, creative environment where families can celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together.
• First Presbyterian Church—The church, located at the corner of Broad and Shotwell streets, will present a “Lessons and Carols” candlelight service on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, beginning at 7 p.m., featuring the chancel and bell choirs and guest musicians.
• Piney Grove M.B. Church—The church, on Pine Grove Road in Whigham, will have Watch Night services on Friday, Dec. 31, beginning at 10:30 p.m. to watch the New Year in.
• Climax Baptist Church—The church, located at 204 W. Lee St., in Climax, will host Kevin Spencer of Ashland, Ohio, in concert at the church on Friday, Jan. 7, at 7:30 p.m. A love offering will be accepted.
