Funeral services for Sara Frances Smith Holman, 83, of Chattanooga, Fla., were held Sunday, Feb. 13, at Calvary Baptist Church in Chattahoochee.

Interment followed in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Mrs. Holman was born Oct. 6, 1927, in Hannatown, Ga., and died Feb. 22, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a strong faith in her Lord. She loved gardening and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John Robert Holman, and her parents, John L. and Lillie Hanna Smith.

She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara A. Johnson, Carolyn Lavery-Barclay and Myra Lynn Holman Stidam; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home of Quincy was in charge of the arrangements.
