Services will be private for Shirley Dawson Brown, 71, of Graceville, Fla., formerly of Bainbridge, who died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Signature Healthcare of North Florida in Graceville.

Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Bainbridge, the daughter of Charlie G. Dawson and Elizabeth Addison Dawson. She was a retired waitress.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Dawson; her sister, Valda Cowart; and her great-granddaughter, Annslee Patricia Wimberly.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Eakin and Patricia Wimberly, both of Bainbridge; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
