Graveside services for Patricia “Faye” Helms Jordan, 67, of Graceville, Fla., were held Tuesday, April 12 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Marianna, Fla., with the Rev. Jacky Register officiating.

Born in Donalsonville, Ga. on March 18, 1944, Mrs. Jordan died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Campbellton-Graceville Hospital surrounded by her family after a long illness.

Mrs. Jordan was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and had been part of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church for many years. She retired from Georgia Pacific after working as a fork-lift operator for 24 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Jordan; her father, Calvin Helms, brothers Gene and Ronnie Helms.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Jordan and his wife Pam, who she loved like a daughter, of Bascom; Fla.; Ken Jordan and his wife Arle’ of Nashville, Tenn.; her mother, Agnes Helms; sister, Sandy Helms of Bascom; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., was in charge of the arrangements.
