Billy and Betty Smith will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 14. They were married in Kansas City, Mo., and have two children. A son, Brad, lives in Denver, Colo., and a daughter, Belinda Allen, lives in New York, N.Y. The couple has two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Smith is retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and has lived in Bainbridge since 1988. He retired in 2000 as a history teacher at Bainbridge High School.
