Funeral services for Vera Mae Nundra, 49, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held at Greater Macedonia M.B. Church on Saturday, April 23, with the Rev. Eric Collins officiating.

Interment was at Conyers Cemetery of Climax with LeMonte Allen, Lorenzo Crump, Reginald Hampton, Willie Jaye, Bobby Nundra and William Troutman acting as pallbearers.

Miss Nundra was born Dec. 5, 1961, in Donalsonville, Ga., to the late Mary Lee Nundra and Wesley Porter of Bainbridge. She died April 16, 2011, at her residence. She attended school in the Decatur County Schools and worked at Burger King in Bainbridge until her illness. She loved to cook and enjoyed being around family and friends.

She was preceded in death by Janie Nundra and Terrance Porter.

Survivors include one son, Thaddes Nundra of Macon, Ga.; 15 sisters, Priscilla Nundra, Jacquelyn Smith, Brenda Johnson, Angela Porter, Sebrina Troutman, Pamela Porter, Bernice Jackson, Anissa Taylor, Bridges Brown, Chiffona Porter, Chandra Porter, Margaret Porter, DiJonnisa Hill, all of Bainbridge, Youlanda Jackson of Augusta, Ga., and Phyllis Porter of Sneads, Fla.; six brothers, Bobby Nundra, Fredrick Nundra, Ronnie Porter, Dexter Price, Griffin Porter and Joshua Porter, all of Bainbridge, and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
