The Bainbridge Aquatic Center is currently being cleaned and spruced up for a tentative opening of Friday, May 20, according to Bainbridge Leisure Services.

After the Aquatic Center opens, normal operating hours will be: Monday through Thursday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is $4 for persons aged 6-49, $2 for persons 50 and older; and $2 for children aged five and under who are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Groups of 10 or more can take advantage of a 20 percent discount off the normal admission fee.

The pool will be available for private rental on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Swim lessons will be given during three sessions: June 6 to June 17, June 20 to July 1 and July 11 to July 22. The fee is $35 per child, per session. For more info, call Leisure Services.
