Funeral services for Bobby “Rondall” Davidson, 74, of LaGrange, Ga., were held Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange Chapel with Rev. Andy Buchanan officiating. Burial followed in Meriwether Memory Gardens in Manchester, Ga. Pallbearers for the service were Brad Reynolds, Wade Reynolds, Lance Reynolds, Trey Richardson, John E. Berry and Mark Reynolds.

Mr. Davidson was born March 9, 1937, in Columbus, Ga., the son of the late Cleo and Mabel Jones Davidson. He died Friday, Nov. 18,  2011 at Hospice LaGrange. He was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and had been a math teacher and a vocational rehab counselor. Mr. Davidson served as an example of Christian faith and love in his church and community.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Davidson; sons, Stewart (Brenda) Reynolds of Bainbridge and Gerald (Teresa) Reynolds of Albany, Ga.; daughters Deanna L. Proper of Dothan, Ala., Sheila R. Weaver of LaGrange and Malissa D. Burkett of Dothan; sisters Lanelle Odom and Gail Lawrence, all of Dawson, Ga.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Heart Association or Hospice LaGrange in memory of Bobby “Rondall” Davidson.

Striffler-Hamby Mortuary of LaGrange was in charge of the arrangements.
