Coach Brandon Ingram’s Bainbridge  High School ninth-grade Bearcats basketball team won two recent games over the Lee County High School ninth-grade Trojans and Seminole County High School ninth-grade Indians.

The Bearcats downed the Trojans, 54-32, and edged the Indians, 48-47.

Trey Miller was the high scorer for the Bearcats against the Trojans, with 15 points.

Rounding out the Bearcats’ scoring chart against the Trojans were Tyree Crump with 12, Tavarious Bowens with nine, Trey Dudley with eight, Devonte Cambell with three, and Derrick Jones and Chad Jenkins with two each.

In their close win over the Indians, Crump led the Bearcats with 15 points.

Miller added 14, Bowens scored five, Jones scored four, Dudley and Malik Middleton scored three each and Trey Webb  put in two.
