Chuck and Donna Maloy of Climax announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Maloy, to Levi Crawford, son of Rebecca and Donald Howell of Cairo, Ga., and Steven Crawford of Jacksonville, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lalla Cloud of Bainbridge, Dorsey Howell of Bainbridge and Bonnie Maloy of Climax, and the late L.C. Cloud, Paul Maloy and Helen Howell.

Miss Maloy is a 2006 graduate of Cairo High School and of Valdosta State University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed as an assistant teacher.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Bobbie Misso of Cairo, Wayne and Lucy Misso of Jacksonville, Wanell Crawford of Jacksonville and the late Perlus Crawford.

Mr. Crawford graduated from Cairo High School in 2004 and from Southwest Georgia Technical College in 2010 with an associate degree in radiological technology. He is employed as a radiographer.

The wedding is planned for March 31 at 2 p.m. at Grady County Cultural Center, where the reception will follow.
