Services for Louette Harper Hopkins, 88, of Reno, Ga., are at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Reno, with Rev. Sue A. Jackson officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Carroll Hopkins, Tommy Hopkins, Bobby Cooper, Jody Harper, Earnest Harper and Hubert Morris.

Mrs. Hopkins was born Sept. 16, 1923, in Cairo, Ga., to the late Earnest Clayton Harper and Mary Maude Zeigler Harper.  Mrs. Hopkins passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

On Feb. 25, 1949, she married Leroy Robert Hopkins Jr., who passed away on April 29, 2012. She was an active member of Bethel United Church in Reno, was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Hopkins Milling Company.

Mrs. Hopkins was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Mary Harper; her husband, Leroy R. Hopkins Jr.; a daughter, Patricia Lynn Hopkins; sisters, Alice H. Wheeler, Christine Harper, Roslyn Chaukley, Nellie Catrell and Mary Helen Morris; brothers, Ralph Warren Harper, Albert Harper and W. E. Harper.

Survivors include  daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Earl Carpenter of Reno, Linda and Chip Perry of Bainbridge, Brenda Roddenbery of Cairo; sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby Hopkins of Panama City Beach, Fla., Duane and Faye Hopkins of Reno; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Carolyn Hopkins of Cairo, Bill and Omega “Meg” Hopkins of Marianna, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, on Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
