Deborah Rich Brown, 45, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Messer and Rev. Robert Johns officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery with David Kirkland, Chris Whittaker, Preston Messer, Caleb Bodrey, Chris Moore and Andrew Scott serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, at Ivey Funeral Home.

Deborah was born June 24, 1966, in Donalsonville. She was a homemaker and attended Donalsonville First Church of the Nazarene. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ben Rich Sr., and her father-in-law, Roy L. Brown.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Lester Brown of Bainbridge; her daughter, Stephanie McCook and her husband, Kevin, of Bainbridge; her son, Luke Brown of Bainbridge; her granddaughters, Chloe McCook and Kelsey McCook; her mother, Dale Rich Brown of Bainbridge; her brothers, Ralph Rich and his wife, Tondra, of Donalsonville, and Ben Rich Jr. and his wife, April, of Bainbridge; her sisters, Teresa Kirkland and her husband, Kenny, of Colquitt, Ga., and Deana George and her husband, David, of Colquitt; her nephews, Tyler Rich, Kyle Rich, Kaleb Rich, Ashley Anderson and his wife, Lindsay, Brian Anderson and his wife, Dana, Jeremy George, Adam George, Dylan George, and Justin Obney; and her two great-nieces, Lydia and Isabella.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
