Eddie (Tony) Duke, 73, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at Northside Hospital, in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The graveside funeral service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at Roselawn Memory Gardens, with Minister Jeff Stapleton officiating.

Mr. Duke was born March 15, 1939, in Ft. Myers, Fla., the son of Edward Duke and Aileen Gilstrap Duke. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Sheriff’s Association of Decatur County. Mr. Duke was a sales representative.

Survivors include his son, Ryan M. Duke of Bainbridge; his daughters, Deanna M. Roberts of Orlando, Fla., and Andrea Rhodes and her husband, Paul, of Madisonville, Ky.; his brothers, Witsey Duke of Port Isabel, Texas, and Red Duke of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his sister, Beverly Douglas of Chiefland, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Alexa Rhodes and Ashton Rhodes.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
