Mr. Wiley Hutto Jr., 69, of Buford, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, with Rev. Mari Lane Brooks and Rev. Lyndon Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
He was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Bainbridge and was a 1960 graduate of Bainbridge High School. In 1963 he graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army Reserve and was employed with Takeuchi Manufacturing as a national service manager after 27 years of service. He also worked for Allis-Chalmers and the John Deere Corp. He was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and actively attended Sugar Hill United Methodist Church for the past 15 years.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Betty Jean Collins Hutto, of Buford; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Phillip Heard, of Suwanee, Ga. and Holly and Michael Reed, of Sugar Hill, Ga.; son, Todd Hutto of Buford; four grandchildren, Tiffany Hale, Douglas Hale, Caroline Hale and Chase Reed; one great-grandchild, Brooklyn Hale; sisters and brother-in-law Patricia Shepherd, of Bainbridge and Ann and Marlow Purvis, of Albany, Ga.; uncle and aunt, Ennis and Evelyn Brock, of Bainbridge; mother-in-law, Mable Collins, of Sugar Hill; and several nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are by Flanigan Funeral Home and Crematory of Buford.
