The Decatur/Grady County Child Development Center will be taking applications for the 2013-2014 school year, beginning on Jan. 22 through Feb. 22, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the center, located at 215 School Road, in Climax.

Those eligible for Head Start are children aged 3 by Sept. 1, 2013, through age 5. Early Head Start age eligibility begins at 6 weeks old. Children with a diagnosed disability are also welcomed to apply.

To complete the registration process, we ask all applicants please bring proof of child’s age (preferably certified birth certificate with file number), and all verification of family income, (preferably a 2012 Income Tax form or W2 form, previous 12 months public assistance letter, WG-15 or two current check stubs.)
