BC Foundation starts Kirbo auditorium seat-naming campaign

The Bainbridge College Foundation has begun a capital fundraising campaign that will allow donors to permanently name a seat in the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center auditorium.
This project is part of an effort to raise support funding to match State of Georgia funding for campus construction. When approving funding for major construction projects for state colleges and universities, the state legislature often requires some level of local financial contribution.
With an expansion of the college library already under way, the next project on the campus master plan is the construction of a new academic building. This building will provide classroom space and faculty offices that are desperately needed.
For a contribution of $200, donors can purchase a bronze plaque that will be affixed to the back of a seat in the Kirbo Center auditorium on the campus of Bainbridge College. Up to three lines of text will be available on each plaque and donors will have the choice of including a U.S. flag on the plaque in recognition of a veteran.
A reservation form to name a seat is available for download at www.thepostsearchlight.com. Or, you can call Dale Fuller, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at Bainbridge College, at (229) 243-6436.
