The Bainbridge Middle School eighth-grade Bearcats and Lady Cats split two Wednesday basketball games with the Seminole County Middle School eighth-grade Indians and Lady Indians in Donasonville.

Coach Heith Maxwell’s Bearcats won 51-38 behind a 14-point performance by guard Tyler Jackson and a 10-point effort by forward Dalvin Spivie.

Coach Beverly Holmes’ Lady Cats were downed 45-27. They were led by Tyra Smart, with 11 points.

The Bearcats and Lady Cats will conclude their season Monday when they host the Indians and Lady Indians in the BMS homecoming games at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum.

The girls game will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the boys game will follow.
