On Saturday, Feb 9, 38 boats launched in the Westside Team Trail tournament. This month’s tournament had more father and son teams participating and had a lot of large bass to show for all the teams day of fishing. The winning team of Brinson/Shaunders (shown above) walked away with the first prize and the “big fish” prize for the day. Their total weight was 16.75 pounds. A young fisherman, Coulter Birdsong (pictured below) fished with his brother, Austin and father and he shared their catch at the weigh-in as well. Although they did not place in the top five, it is evident that this catch was a success for Coulter and a day of fun. Westside Team Trail will hold their next tournament on March 9.
