Nancy Lynette Conyers and William “Bill” Knight will exchange marriage vows on June 8.

Miss Conyers is the daughter of Mrs. Lynette Davis, the stepdaughter of Mr. Walter Davis Sr. of Cairo, Ga., and of Mr. Ralph Conyers Sr. and step-mother Lois Conyers of Bainbridge.

Mr. Knight is the son of the late Mrs. Shirley Knight and of Mr. William Knight of Cairo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira and Mollie Gaines of Whigham, Ga., and of Mrs. Lorie Conyers and the late James Conyers Sr. of Bainbridge.

She is a 1996 graduate of Cairo High School. She graduated in 2003 from Bainbridge College with a degree in nursing. She currently works as a nurse at One Blood in Thomasville.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Addie and Flossie Knight, of Pelham, Ga.

He is also a 1996 graduate of Cairo High School and in 2007 he graduated from Valdosta Technical College with a degree in industrial electrical. He is currently employed as an electrician with Ace Technologies.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, June 8, at 3 p.m., at Grant Chapel Community Church in Climax, and the reception will follow at the Grady County Cultural Center in Cairo. Invitations have been sent.
