Local Belk Manager Threasa Hall said they are expecting a big and busy tax-free back-to-school event for Aug. 9-13. She said the store is stocked and ready; and offering great sales for back-to-school clothing and shoes. Even though the store is in the midst of remodeling, the large supply of clothing for children, juniors and misses, as well as jeans and shirts for men and boys, is well organized, and the store is staffed to assist customers in making their selections.
