Decatur County Family Connection’s director Ronnie Burke is the organization’s only paid employee, but he has a world of help from the many volunteers of the collaborative agencies that meet together monthly to seek out, identify and address the needs of Decatur County’s youth and their families.

State money covers office expenses, but all donations and proceeds from fundraisers go entirely to the many projects overseen by Family Connection.

Designated school children will continue to take home back packs of non-perishable food for the weekend thanks to the efforts of this organization. They will continue to learn about relationship abstinence, making wise life choices, and receive warm clothing when cold weather comes. These are just a few of the organization’s benefits.

Family Connection wisely utilizes manpower and funds to the benefit of many; they deserve our thanks.
