Donnie S. Cleveland, 60, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Christian Faith Church with Rev. Ron Kirkland officiating and will conclude in the church. Interment will be at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Stacey Smith, Walon Smith, Jeff Smith, Josh Smith, Darren Holt, Kevin Cleveland, Rick Sirmons, and Jim Cleveland serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Cleveland was born August 17, 1953 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of John Sam Cleveland and Mary Cook Cleveland. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1971 and was a corrections officer for many years. He served Memorial Hospital for the last 17 years as their Chief Security Officer. Mr. Cleveland was a member of Christian Faith Church.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Dianna Barwick Cleveland of Bainbridge, GA; his daughters, Jennifer Cleveland Crews of Bainbridge, GA and Amber Cleveland Moore and her husband, Philip, of Colquitt, GA; his siblings, James Cleveland of Thomasville, GA, John Sam Cleveland, Jr. of Thomasville, GA, Carolyn Hilliard of Bainbridge, GA, Rita Holt of Bainbridge, GA, Sue Smith of Camilla, GA, Eloise Gray of Reynolds, IL, and Sandra Sirmons of Climax, GA; and his grandchildren, Griffin Perkins, Stokes Moore, Jacob Hill Moore, AnnaClaire Moore, John Crews, and Sara Kate Crews.
