Stacy White, 42, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

Joel Stacey White was born November 15, 1973 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Earnest Terrell White and Jessie Olivia Sellers White. Stacy lived most of his life in Decatur County. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from Georgia Southern. With a brilliant mind and unmatched mechanical intelligence, Stacy tinkered with everything from watches to cars. He had a passion for fishing, which included tying his own flies. He enjoyed spending time at Spring Creek and St. Marks, especially with the family he loved so dearly. His favorite place on this earth was knee deep in water with a fly rod.

Survivors include his fiancé, Nichole Buchanan of Bainbridge; his children, Carissa White and Ethan White, both of Bainbridge; his siblings, Stephanie Landeen of Bainbridge, Gary White and his wife, Susan, of Bainbridge, Tom White of Atlanta, Tim White of Atlanta, and Terry White also of Atlanta; and his mother and step-father, Olivia and Charlie McCall of Brinson. Stacy was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Terrell White.
