Lisa Kay Hines, 51, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Lisa was born February 3, 1965 in Bainbridge, the daughter of Marvin Ansel Hines and Dollie Mae Carter Hines. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and lived in Bainbridge, all of her life. Lisa is remembered by many as Nell’s sidekick at Eastside Grocery and the fact that she never met a stranger.

Survivors include her mother, Dollie Hines of Bainbridge; her siblings, Marvin Ansel Hines, Jr. of Dawson, Ga. and Linda Hines Newsome and her husband, Sam, of Bainbridge; her nieces and nephews, Megan Hines, Alicia Hines, Chris Hines and his wife, Davalyn, and Sam Newsome. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin
