Rena Mae Pollock

 

Rena Mae Pollock, 91, of the Vada Community died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 29 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Vada with interment in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chris Pollock, Kyle Pollock, Justin Pollock, Jason Pollock, Tony Hurst, Josh Harper and Hunter Hayes.

Born November 5, 1924 in Grady County, she was the daughter of the late Tom Glover and Elizabeth Owen Glover.

She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Mrs. Pollock was married to Leo Pollock who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Larry Pollock; sisters, Mildred Pollock, Mary Nichols; brothers, Steve Glover and Leland Glover.

Survivors include her sons, Donald (Bonnie) Pollock, Terry (Wanda) Pollock and Kevin (Cheryl) Pollock all of the Vada Community; a sister, Geraldine DeBerry of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, T.W. “Buck” Glover of Jacksonville, FL and Hubert Glover of Jacksonville, FL; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchilden.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 28 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
