Climax resident arrested for growing marijuana

The Pataula Drug Task Force arrested Roy Ivester of Climax on Wednesday on the charge of manufacturing marijuana.
According to a release from the drug task force, they were provided information that there was marijuana being grown at the residence located at 750 Antioch Rd. in Climax.
While investigating the complaint, officers located four suspected marijuana plants. The investigation continued and Ivester was identified as a suspect. He was then arrested and charged in connection to the growing of marijuana plants.
The investigation is ongoing and more details will be provided as they become available.
