The Bainbridge Farmers’ Market will be back for its fall season this Saturday, Oct. 8 starting at 9 a.m. The market will feature many of the same vendors from the spring season as well as a few new ones.

“A lot of the favorites will be there,” Mills Brock said. “A new one is Grady’s Ranch. They have local grass fed Angus beef.”

The market will also have live music for the first time this Saturday with a performance by the Creekside Strings. They will play from 9:30 until 10:30 and then again from 11:30 until the market close at 1 p.m. Brock said that adding music is just another step in building the market.

“We’re trying to improve ourselves each year,” Brock said. “The community has been incredibly supportive.”

Brock is also hoping to add more food vendors this season and is looking for vendors to provide either breakfast or lunch items or both.

The vendors for this Saturday’s market are:

  • Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society – boiled peanuts
  • Calamint Farms – peanuts, sweet potatoes, summer produce
  • Firestarter Farms – goats milk soap and lotion
  • George’s Produce – produce
  • Grady Ranch Farms – grassfed Angus beef
