Eighth grade Bearcats improve record to 12-0 with three big wins

The eighth grade boys’ basketball team remained undefeated with victories over Seminole County, Thomas County and Pelham. The Bearcats are now a perfect 12-0 on the season.
Bainbridge Middle defeated Seminole 72-7 behind 32-points from Javon Lee. The second leading scorer for the Bearcats was Casey Jones with 9-points. Caleb Lewis and Rashad Broadnax each added 6-points and Clayton Lewis and Jamorris Cosby each had 5-points.
Dorian Copper scored 4, Connor Potivent had 3 and Anthony Johnson had 2.
The Bearcats are now 10-0 on the season.
Bainbridge defeated Pelham 68-15. Boradnax had 16-points in the win and Lee had 14. Mark Taylor added 10, Lewis had 7-points. Connor Poitevent and Jamorris Cosby each had 6-points.
The Bearcats have two games remaining in the season. On Wed.. January 19th the Bearcats travel to Thomasville to take on the McIntyre Park Bulldogs. This will be a match up between two undefeated teams, and will be one of two games the teams play in the final two weeks of the season. The best record in Southwest Georgia will come down to these final two games.
