A vehicle was hit by an 18-wheeler Monday afternoon at the intersection of Bethel Road and Hwy. 27 North.

Lifeflight transported a woman to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Brenda Gail Solis was killed in the accident, BPS confirmed.

Decatur County Fire and Rescue, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, Bainbridge Public Safety, multiple volunteer fire responders and Georgia State Patrol were on scene for the accident.
