If you love to run, love fellowship or just love color, John Johnson Elementary School has you covered this Saturday.

The 5K Color Run to be held at the school is open to everyone.

The price is $20 for kids 10 and under and $30 for everyone else.

The fundraiser event goes toward enhancing the student’s experience and education at JJE.

At 8 a.m., walkers will start the 5K course that goes down South West Street toward the Willis Park Square and back.The 5K run will start at 8:30 a.m.

The kid’s 1-mile fun run goes to Louise Street and then stops at Louise Street.

The Bainbridge High School JROTC will present the flag at the beginning of the race, and the John Johnson Elementary chorus will sing the Star Spangled Banner.

The Bainbridge High School Band and cheerleaders will be cheering everyone on their way to the finish line.

At 9 a.m., all who participate will be able to join the color party, where powder of all colors will be tossed into the air and cover everyone.

As of Monday, 145 people have signed up to participate.
