Della Kay Hand Mosely, age 58, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday, June 26, 2017, at Donalsonville Hospital.
Funeral services for Ms. Mosely will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Horn and Rev. Garth Duke-Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Emerson Skipper, Mark Hanna, Charles Parramore, Ronnie Singletary, Chad Johnson, and Terrell Smith serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m. at the church. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer c/o Lucy Thomas PO Box 616 Donalsonville, GA 39845.
Ms. Mosely was born in Dothan, Ala. on September 22, 1958, to Billy Hand and Jeanette Dasinger Hand. She graduated from Dale County High School in 1976, and worked for 17 years with the Seminole County FSA office under the USDA. She most recently was the manager of Georgia Fuels, Inc. and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Mason Mosely and his wife Cassie of Donalsonville, Mandi Mosely Godwin and her husband Drew of Bainbridge, Ga.; a dear friend and companion of 14 years, Terril Scott of Brinson, Ga.; her mother-in-law, Jean Mosely of Donalsonville; a stepson, Myles Mosely and his wife Adriel of Jakin, Ga.; her grandson, Luke Scott of Bainbridge, and her granddaughter, Asher Scott of Bainbridge; her step-granddaughter, Anna Mosely of Jakin; her sister, Debbie Singletary of Abbeville, Ala.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Mosely was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Hand and Jeanette Dasinger Hand; her husband, Ed Mosely; and her sister, Donna Jordan.
