Students put investigative skills to the test at ‘crime scene’

Several students from Shiver Elementary (Grady County), Grace Christian Academy, John Johnson Elementary (Decatur County), and Brookwood (Thomas County) joined together at Southwest GYSTC on the campus of Bainbridge State College to participate in a Fairy Tale crime scene and become forensic detectives for a day.
Students were excited and intense as they examined fingerprints, compared shoe molds, hair samples, and more to determine the perpetrator of the crime.
Each participant received a level 1 crime scene certificate and will hopefully continue to participate in the next crime scene.
Southwest GYSTC will host Creepy Crime Scene Saturday, October 28th from 9am-12pm. The cost is $25 a participant grades 1st thru 5th.
