Phillips-Tabb to Wed in January

 

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Phillips of Bainbridge, GA, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Macy Leigh, to Thomas Troupe Tabb, son of Mrs. Kelly Young of Cairo, GA and Mr. Ferrell Tabb of Colquitt. Macy is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Phillips and the Mr. Billy Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. Otis Dean. Mr. Tabb is the grandson of Mrs. Larry Calhoun and the late Mr. Larry Calhoun, Mrs. Marie Tabb and Mr. Lonnie Tabb.

 

The future bride graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2012 and the University of Georgia, Athens, GA in 2015 with a BS degree in Biology. Miss Phillips is seeking a degree in Osteopathic Medicine at The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) on the Auburn University Campus.

 

The future groom is a 2011 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and a 2016 graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Agricultural Engineering. Mr. Tabb is continuing his education at the pursuing a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is employed as a Graduate Research Assistant in the GPS Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory at Auburn University.

 

A January wedding is planned and invitations will be sent. The couple will live in Auburn, Alabama until they complete their education.
